Replacement of Front Bumper Beam Right Mounting Plate Assembly
Removal
- Remove the front end module locating mounting plate. See Front Module Locating Mounting Plate
- Clear 2 welding spots from the front bumper beam right mounting plate assembly.
- Clear 5 welding spots, and take out the front bumper beam right mounting plate assembly.
Installation
- Secure the front bumper beam right mounting plate assembly to the mounting position.
- Check and adjust the relative position and dimensions of the front bumper beam right mounting plate assembly and surrounding parts.
- Weld 2 welding spots on the front bumper beam right mounting plate assembly.
- Weld 5 welding spots on the front bumper beam right mounting plate assembly.
Replacement of Front Bumper Beam Left Mounting Plate Assembly
Removal
- Remove the front end module locating mounting plate. See Front Module Locating Mounting Plate
- Clear 2 welding spots from the front bumper beam left mounting plate assembly.
- Clear 5 welding spots, and take out the front bumper beam left mounting plate assembly.
Installation
- Secure the front bumper beam left mounting plate assembly to the mounting position.
- Check and adjust the relative position and dimensions of the front bumper beam left mounting plate assembly and surrounding parts.
- Weld 2 welding spots on the front bumper beam left mounting plate assembly.
- Weld 5 welding spots on the front bumper beam left mounting plate assembly.
Front Bumper Beam Assembly - Removal and Installation
Removal
- Remove the front module assembly. See Front Module Assembly - Removal and Installation
- Remove the engine sound simulator. See Engine Sound Simulator - Removal and Installation
- Remove the engine sound simulator 2. See Engine Sound Simulator 2 - Removal and Installation
- Detach 4 wiring harness clips from the front bumper beam assembly.
- Remove 8 fixing bolts, and take out the front bumper beam assembly.
Installation
- Follow the removal steps in reverse order to install.
