Front Brake Pad Assembly - Removal and Installation
Removal
- Remove the left front wheel assembly. See Wheel Assembly - Removal and Installation
- Remove 1 fixing bolt of the left front brake caliper sub-assembly.
- Detach the left front brake hose assembly.
- Remove 1 fixing bolt.
- Detach the left front brake hose from the left front shock absorber strut.
- Remove the front brake pad assembly.
- Turn the left front brake caliper body sub-assembly upward.
- Remove the front brake pad assembly.
Caution After turning upwards, it should be fixed with a tie to avoid injury caused by the left front brake caliper body sub-assembly turning downwards suddenly.
Installation
- The installation steps are opposite to the removal steps.
Caution To replace the brake pad assembly, replace the brake pad holder as well.

Removal
- Remove the left front wheel assembly. See Wheel Assembly - Removal and Installation
- Remove the left front brake lining assembly. See Front Brake Pad Assembly - Removal and Installation
- Take out the brake pad holder.
Install
- The installation is performed in reverse order of removal.
