Washer Reservoir and Motor Assembly - Removal and Installation
Removal
- Remove the front bumper assembly. See Front Bumper Assembly - Removal and Installation
- Remove the washer reservoir neck assembly. See Washer Reservoir Neck Assembly - Removal and Installation
- Disconnect the wiring harness connection of the washer reservoir and motor assembly.
- Disconnect 1 connector.
- Detach 3 wiring harness clips.
- Detach 2 pipeline connections of the washer reservoir and motor assembly.
- Remove 3 fixing bolts from the washer reservoir and motor assembly.
Caution Place a collection container under the washer reservoir and motor assembly, pry up the washer motor, and drain the washing liquid.
Installation
- The installation steps are opposite to the removal steps.
Caution When the installation is complete, add the washing fluid to the proper position. When the outdoor temperature is below 0°C, it is prohibited to fill running water or mineral water.
